About

I am a first year Ph.D. student in Computer Engineering at University of California, Santa Cruz. I am a member of Computer Vision Lab advised by Professor Roberto Manduchi. My research interests include Computer Vision, Image Processing, Deep Learning and Machine Learning.

Before joining UC Santa Cruz, I worked as a Researcher at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Research Labs, Gurgaon, where I was working under the supervision of Dr. Gautam Shroff and Dr. Lovekesh Vig in the field of computer vision and deep learning with a focus on their applications in medical imaging and document analysis.

Before, I have earned a Master's degree in Signal Processing from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad in 2016. During my graduation, I have worked on developing and designing a Language Identification System that works on speech signals, as a part of my master's thesis project supervised by Dr. K Sri Rama Murty.

At IIT Hyderabad, I was fortunate to work as a Teaching Assistantship for two courses, namely, Probability & Random Processes and Adaptive Signal Processing.
